Day 17: Kidlets

Madagascar

Today we spent the entire morning at the Saturday school down in the village. The children don’t speak much English but we’re working on it. There is a severe lack of structure with these ‘English lessons’ but that adds to the fun and creativity of it. Today we covered animals of the ocean and the spiny forest. The kids are all so out going and their personalities shine brightly through the language barrier.

We had a very relaxing afternoon. Studied a little bit of Benthic and watched some fishermen set their sail on their pirogue… all from the comfort of my hammock.
